I'm not a performance junkie and I've nothing but the stock cams to compare them to, but I love mine. Picks up nicely in the upper range and will fill the clock quite rapidly.. (quick enough for me anyway). That being said I've heard from more than one source that it probably isn't the best choice for a 103 like you have.

You'll get a lot of opinions on this one.

I really like the 204 in my scoot numbers are in my sig. This has got all the power and torque I will EVER need. I love it and would do it all over again if I had to.

Thanks for the input, I am considering several other choice's..........

I am also not looking to go radical either....

RedShift - 525's -210, 229 - 475 lift, 525 lift or 527's - 234,234 - 525 lift
Andrew's - 37H - 236, 240 - 510 lift
Crane - TW37B - 236, 240 - 510 lift

I may be looking the wrong direction, but I know the stock cam is 216 and 220 with a 473 lift, I want some more top end and not loose to much on the bottom........... In fact I am hoping that the cams listed above would help the bottom end a little bit........

Need to include Intake Closing as an important factor: Early closing - more low rpm performance, Late closing - more high rpm performance. The SE 204s, Andrews 37, and RS 527s are all fairly similar but I would through out that RS 525 unless you want all your performance down in the lowest rpms.

I was thinking the same thing about the RS 525's, but still leaving them in the mix..........
I was really leaning toward's the RS 527's for the reason that I am running a ThunderMax auto tuner and most of their map's are based with RedShift cam's.
But they are not the cheapest out of the 3 choice's.......

Really looking for some good mid to high but not loose everything on the bottom.

So between the 3, SE-204's - Andrew's 37H - Redshift 527's which one's would you go with ??????

Thanks, you input is greatly appreciated...........

I installed them in my wife's SG and she loved them. They pulled down low which is where she liked the power.

I don't think you will lose anything, but you will not gain as much performance in some of the rpm ranges, depending on what cam you pick.

Probably could not tell the difference between all three if you test rode them, but on specs alone, I think it is a tie between the Andrews 37 and the RS 527. I like the higher lift of the RS 527s, but the durations and slightly later intake close on the Andrews 37 is more to my liking.

Not to muddle things up but the 103" is a pretty big engine with decent stock compression, so I definitely think that cams with more lift(power) will work too, but the ones you are looking at will be conservative solid choices.

Thank you for you input again, My thought's were, I was at least in the ball park with the cam choice's I have been looking at, I do not want to deal with changing valve springs or anything like that, that is why I was trying to stick with a 510 - 525 lift in my choice's..........

If you have some other info that I could consider, knowing that I do not want to change spring's, I am all ears and open to other option's............

Once again Thank you for your time............
