Guys, I gotta say, I am very impressed with TerryCable coil over rear shocks. I bought the lo-touring model with springs chosen for my weight and riding style by Terry Davis himself and that was in the discussion we had about my stock HD Fat Bob shocks wallowing through the corners and not being able to absorb the bumps at speed. I have 36,000 and change on my bike and felt the stockers were done. I walked up to Terry at his booth at Blackhills HD during the rally and commenced to talking to him about my rear shocks and my dis-satisfaction I got from the kids working the J+P store on Lazelle, the Ohlins guys just said pay us the money and we'll talk, the progressive guy just said to look at their website and its all there.
long story short, struck a deal with Terry(he had special rally pricing) and in 2 min I'm riding my bike into his booth to get the shocks installed. He took his time to make sure the sag was set right and said if they didn't feel right I was to come back and he would make them right and there is always the 90 day money back guarantee. I am sure glad I bought these shocks. A bit firmer on smaller slow speed bumps, holds very tught in corners and no more impacts going up my spine.
I have no regrets and he even has them in all black (except the urethane bumper) A damn good shock and even though I'm from Canada I like that they are made in the U.S.A. I'd strongly recommend these shocks to anyone looking for a better ride than stock.
