Default Lower tank bolt mod
Removed the stock tank bolt and put in a bolt on each side. Used a 3/8-16 tap for the holes and two 3/8-16 x 1.5" button head bolts. Took 15 minutes and a beer later to sit back and admire

Had the bolts on hand so it cost me $0!!! Got to love free mods when you can

I think the goal is to reduce the amount of bolt/nut sticking out on either side.

No real reason, just the fact that sometimes the stuff that Harley does is tacky and my beer encouraged me to get rid of the way the mount their tanks.
