I wish we could get an update. I watched a video on youtube of a guy with a road glide and he said he had to either remove the trans cover or drill a whole in it to access the mount. Did you run into anything like that? for $214 you can't beat that. bike looks awesome.
Hey sorry guys, I never really came back with a review. I'll give you a quick update:
The good: Sounds great, and never sounds like it's going to die out at high RPM. Definitely a bit power. Looks awesome. Quality seems good (keep in mind, I am in Canada and haven't ridden since November, so I really only put it through a couple of months before the bike went into storage.
The bad: The cornering clearance is pretty shitty and the large megaphone sits rather low. Unless you were able to bend or cut and re-weld the bracket, I'm not sure what could be done about it. It gets SUPER hot. There are no heat shields on this sucker. While riding, it's no big deal, but if you frequently get stuck in traffic, it can get annoying.
Over the winter, I have been doing various mods, and during my tinkering I decided to remove the Danmoto and go back to my pythons until I can afford a closer fitting 2 into 1 with heat sheilds. It's not a bad pipe, but the cornering clearance made me a bit nervous going into some good leans. If your bike is higher than stock, or you don't ride aggressively, these pipes will be fine.
FWIW I will probably sell them, so if anyone decides they want some despite my gripes, let me know and we can see if we can work something out.

Sorry, should have answered this too... yes, getting to those mounting bolts in painfull, but I got to them without removing or drilling anything. There were a few swear words involved though...
I've had this exhaust on since last August on my 08 street bob with Andrews 54's. Huge bump in bottom end performance. I've got almost 2500 miles on the pipes. Since I've got 13" progressive rears, clearance has never been a problem. Sound was very mellow when new, but the reverberation from the sound would shake the house. They do get a little louder as time goes on, but it is no way obnoxious.
I had short shots on before switching.
Only issue was getting everything lined when mounting and the factory exhaust bracket on the bottom of the motor was slightly in the way.
For the price, I'm extremely happy with them and their performance.
Agree with what Chief says... I have have no complaints about the performance or sound. As a matter of fact, i like the sound much better than my pythons (or the previous V&H that I had). If I had the longer rear shocks, I would probably keep them.

Did you end up selling the pipe? I'm interested in it and it's a pain to get one here in California.
