I have a 2012 wide glide and just to the right of where the speedometer shaft goes into the dash there is a red light that comes on when the ignition is turned on, goes out for a couple of seconds when motor is started and now comes back on.
I have the shop manual, and can't find any info on it, I put the owners manual somewhere I wouldn't loose it, and can't find it now.
Anybody know what that light is for??
TIA.

Found it, low beam out.

I think that's the security light. If its staying on that means theres a code in the turn signal/security module. Mine flashes when I use the turn signals because I have LEDs in the front with different resistance and I'm too lazy to wire in the correct resistor.
Theres a sequence of buttons to push/hold that will display the codes in the odometer, but I can't remember how to do it.
