Heard good and bad. For $25 will work for most stuff. I think as long as you are ratchet strapped down properly no problems should arise. Knowing me I will figure out how I can drill and countersink a machine screw through them so that extra reassurance is there as well.

The Dyna lift adapters are complete CRAP and not safe for extended storage. If you're not ready to drop the cash to do it right with a J&S or Pitbull, look at Sclonghair's Sears Red Jack Modification thread. That should give you some ideas on how to modify your existing jack to properly support a Dyna.

Default Dyna Lifts

I did the lift modification to a Harbor Freight Jack and it works fine on my 08 FXD...........Got maybe $80 all together in jack and mods. Jack was on sale.

Why spend 25$ on four plastic blocks when you can do it for free with a little piece of wood. Your going to strap the bike down either way. But if you insist that kit is from HD!

I did this mod and still have to block up under the primary side. guess the jack I got was just too mis-conceived!

Thanks! I'm not interested in using the jack for storage. We have a long riding season here. I'm only interested in service, and this looks exactly like what I need.

I'll definitely look at a good lift as well.

Thanks. I thought there would have to be a block adapter of some kind to get it to lift correctly. I am still concerned about the kickstand spring being in the way of the center brace on my jack stand when I push it far enough in to lift the bike. Not sure I want to try and cut this brace out as I think it would affect the stability and strength of the lift. Will take a look at the adaptors and see if I fee they are strong enough for the storage over the winter. Thanks again to everyone who commented.

Spring should be fine. I would be more concerned with how rapidly the OTC jack drops.

I bought a set. They are made of two pieces of plastic that are glued together. One of them came apart at the seam. I think it was due to lots of oil and solvents getting on them as I worked and breaking down the glue.

Use wood blocks.

Default One more vote for J&S

I like my Super Glide too much to trust it to plastic or wood blocks. J&S is expensive, but call them and you might qualify for a discount. I did. Finally, ask yourself this. When was I ever disappointed when I bought the very best? Probably not too often and in my book J&S is the best.

the tires will be fine. you might get a tiny flat spot at the most, and those would go away in the first mile or two.

I'd rather my bike sit on the tires and kickstand as intended rather than on a jack where it could possibly fall over.
