I bought this 01 super glide a month and a half ago with 11k miles on it. In mint condition. Since then I took off the saddle bags and added a few things. Got a arlen ness big sucker stage 1 air cleaner with some freedom amendment pipes. Added a tamarack 1 3/4" drop in the rear and just finished my burley 14" apes with the burly cable exstention kit. Added some grips and black levers. Still want some big spoke black wheels and I'll be happy lol.

I'll be the lone dissenter but I like the FXDX better the way it was. Doesn't matter what I think though, main thing is that you like it.

I agree . . had a 'classic' look to it. As you say, as long as the owner is happy, that is all that matters.
