Coming from a stock dual FXDC seat to a Mustang Wide Daytripper I find the Daytripper makes my *** go numb after about an hour, it is not what I thought it would be with people on here saying they were good seats.
Will be looking to sell the Daytripper and going for a Mustang Wide Vintage, I was warned though, but didn't like the bulky look of the vintage so opted for the tripper.

I should have listened but never mind.
Did you look at the pic of my FXDC with the Mustang Wide Vintage on it? It doesn't look bulky on the bike at all.
I have bought 4 mustangs for 3 different bikes (vintage and wide vintage). Three of then went back - uncomfortable, looked OK - definitely NOT a mustang guy. Had a Corbin, that took 15K to break in but great after that (lol), looked outstanding. New Corbins say they use a key lock to get on and off and may require parts from stock to set up. Since I will be swapping seats out frequently, this was not attractive. After sending back the Mustang (my last attempt at using a Mustang), I got a Danny Gray. Very pleased - very much like the Corbin except w/o the inflated cost of the Corbin.
I wasn't going to comment further so as not to force this thread to keep going, but since it has, I really want to thank everybody for their input. I'm 54 years old and this is my fourth bike (my first HD, and I'm really excited). Rest assured I will research all of your suggestions and report back when I have a new seat sometime this winter.
had mustang with backrest, Harley touring, sundowner solo, danny grey solo, mustang tripper, going to try a lepera solo next, the wide seats don't seem to work for me going to a skinny one and see what happens.
