Suspension upgrade for 05 fxdwgi
I know that there have been many threads concerning this topic but looking for accurate up to date info. I have a 05 wg to stabilize it I'm going with the sputhe system front and rear and the super brace for the forks. There are so many choices for front suspension ie ricor, progressive, works and race tech which is the best. Also looking at ohlins and works for the rear which would give the better ride?? Not looking to lower front or back basically keeping it stock height. Any and all replies welcome. Thanks in advance.

You are correct that there are many options, and you can spend a little or a lot. My suggestion is to figure out how much you are willing to spend, consider what you don't like about your current set up, and then find parts in your price range that address what you want to improve about your current suspension.

Price and what your willing to pay .everyones budget is different.you will get a lot of different answers as to what is best.I will put a word in for rear suspension..don't forget JRI.I installed a set of the "B" shocks and I am very happy with them.

My only Dyna was an FXDXT, which cam with excellent front and rear suspension. For my Glide I have Ohlins, courtesy HDF sponsor Motorcycle Metal. As you've mentioned that brand I suggest you save time, pick up the phone and talk to Howard there. He has various price points, gives us discounts and will ensure you get the right shocks for you and your bike. Our Ohlins have transformed the Glide for Mrs B and I!
