i went with a simple -1 kickstand from j and p cycles.
super easy install, if you have a second pair of hands
100% function, never worried about my bike tipping over.

you can shave the tab on the stock stand where it makes contact in the keeper that is an easy way to do it... you can also go with a lower kickstand
here is a stock stand on the right with a shaved keeper tab, and a -1 lower kickstand, I took about 1/8 off the tab, and got more of a lean. i was just not pleased with how the throw of the stand worked out when trying to put the kickstand down. I got a stand off ebay for like $20 that was -1, works great!
did have to move my frame bump so the stand was not on the frame
