It's an easy install if you have a bike jack to get it off the ground a little bit. Cotter pin and a bolt then the assembly comes out and apart very easily. The FSM details it.

The only problem I had with my -1" stand (Drag Specialties) is that it contacted the outer primary and started to wear it down in a spot before I noticed. Also it's near impossible to lower the stand with any sort of boot on, had to reach down with my hand like an idiot. So with a little bending and an extension to the end I was back in business.

doesnt get any easier than you and another guy. took me and my brother about 15 minutes and we didnt even threaten to smash eachother in the process.
he just sat on my bike with a beer while i crawled around real quick

dont exactly remember but like was said above i think its a bolt, spring and pin.

Be carefull with the hoop on the 1 under stand. I put one on my bike and it hit the back of the primary and started to rub the black off. Just bend the tab away from the primary to avoid this.

install i like to have the primary and inner off, but not always in the cards... undo the bolt, remove the spring, put in the new one, put back in the keeper bolt, no pins or any of that bs

One tip when installing is grab like 20 quarters and flip the kickstand in the down position. Put the quarters in the spring, as many as you can. This makes it so it won't compress to a small spring when you remove it. You can pull it right off and it goes right back on again. No need to stretch the spring and deal with all of that cuz the quarters are holding it apart.

Pull the spring off, take out that pretzel clip and pin comes out. Then the whole thing comes out. Remember how it all goes back in again because it seems odd when reinstalling it.

then take your quarter loaded spring and it just clips right back on. Remove quarters and done!
