Default 2017 FXDB Work in progress

Hopefully this goes to the right place. IE Street Bob Photos. The bike is getting closer to where I want it to be. That said there is still a pretty lengthy list to knock out!

Chopper Hauss 14" rotor-13-spoke. Early model Dyna 13 spoke rims.

Chopper Hauss rotor-13-spoke.

Big Al's 8" pullback risers with Speedkings High bend bars.

Bike looks sick dude, what are your thoughts on that GPR stabilizer? Looking into getting one for my street bob but haven't pulled the trigger yet

It's been off the bike for a while now and I don't notice the difference honestly. It blew an o ring out and I never got it rebuilt. Rebuild kits are only like 40 bucks. Now I've moved on to an FXRT fairing and it doesn't work with the bracket.

Okay good to know, for 500-600 bucks I'd definitely want to feel a little bit of a difference. Another question now since you brought up the FXRT fairing, do you have any handling issues with the bracket for that thing? I installed one on my bike as well, you can see it in the garage in one of the pics i sent, but ended up taking it off because it seemed super unstable on the freeway, a lot of front end "issues" i guess, i"m not sure if its the weight from the mount that I need to get used to or if I mounted it wrong, but yeah any issues with that fairing on your end?

I haven't test rode it yet.my paint appointment was coming up and I'm all over the place working on both my bikes. I test fit everything and sent it off to paint yesterday. I never thought about it being unstable or causing vibrations. So many people run them. I'm using a JD Customs bracket, fairing & lowers. I like JDs bracket cuz it sits the fairing in tight. I'll I did was jam it around the block. 🤦‍♂️

See I got the cheap amazon fairing and lowers, the fairing is actually really good quality and fit perfect, lowers not so much, and the bracket looks the same as every other company I've seen like RWD. TOL, JD's, Dominator, all those companies. Maybe it weighs more then the other companies who knows. It might be another problem completely separate from the fairing. But they are rad and I'm sure the paint job you're getting is going to look killer

I know you responded to @jmattl98 but if you were referring to me my tins are painted but not on the bike yet. I'm doing a ton of other things. Blacked out the motor, ARPs everywhere Barnett Stealth clutch & throttle cables (blacked out) coated my thunderheader. Elite Moto easy pull clutch lever. She's gonna be a banger.

I got the bike back together in late May. I have about 3k miles on it since paint. I took a few rock chips that made me cry in my helmet so currently the bike us getting color sanded, PPF coated and ceramic coated where the PPF won't go.
