Cool 2012 FLD dyna switchback front end for sale/trade complete

I want a springer front end.
prefer trade. want late model one.
fairly certain a crossbones front will work.
1800 miles on my bike.
I don't know how to price this.
I know it is worth a lot.
just saw a springer front end sell for 800 at the swap meet today minus wheels brakes fender headlight bars controls etc.
so I am guessing a complete late model crossbones front end must be 2, 3, 4, k ish ??
anybody else crazy enough to try this?
want a unique look for your dyna?
hows about a switchbones
pretty ****ing serious
only parts I need to keep are my controls.

PM Bikerlaw he will give you the low down, & he paid I believe 1,600 for his springer. The dyna frame is different than softails & the rest,

I'd be interested in buying your front end if you decide to sell.. and the price is reasonable. Your easiest fix is to sell your bike and start over..

It would be easier because you paid more for a Dyna with a FL front end and now you want to change it. Why not start with a basic FXD?

Cool

these hard bags are 1400 a side
then there is the 2 into 1
the rear fender etc.
I am going to sell my front end and buy another and end up a grand ahead.
fxd is not close to bike I want.
fld is real close
cept for the front end.
I want a springer and don't care how idiotic it might seem.
I already have a touring bike.
this is my bar hopper that can tour if it has to.
I ride in the ghetto need hard locking bags.

You mind measuring those Switchback saddlebags and posting the sizes? I'm looking to buy a set off a guy here locally and can't find the sizes online.

You should have bought a Springer Classic or a Crossbones to start with. You can get a great Springer Classic for 10k. That's a lot easier.

Bike customization was born out of necessity and ingenuity. OCC and Harley marketing geniuses have turned it into a hobby for RUBs with more money than brains.. and it cracks me up.
