Default '14 FXDB Experience?

As the title reads, who's got experience with the '14 FXDB?

Specifically, relocating the license plate in order to mount quick-release sissy bar docking hardware.

Im moderately competent with a wrench.

Wondering how the blinker wires disconnect so I can feed them out of and through the blinker base/ hardware, respectively.

I rarely ride at night, so considering tucking the plate light wire away. Im wondering if I have to cut it or if it just plugs in?

My uneducated guess is the wires in question plug in under the seat somewhere.

Im VERY particular about my bike. Its brand new. Still got the brand new smell.

Any info is very appreciated.
