Hopefully one of you guys or gals can help me. I'm looking for the clutch switch ground wire on my 2013 Dyna FLD switchback. I am finishing up the install of the Kuryakyn electro-magnetic cruise assist and this is the last thing I have to hook up to be done and use it on my 4 hour trip on Monday afternoon. the whole installation was fairly simple but I can not find this wire.
its on and works correctly just doesn't release when you pull the clutch. not a necessary wire for the unit to work. it does however shut off with the tapping of either brake lever. im going to use it today and see how I like it. if not ill be going a different route.
the new lan system has four wires coming out of the left switch housing. one is ground for all the switches.
you could try slicing it into the ground wire at the connector where it goes into the frame.?? might work.

If it's just a ground, run a wire to chassis ground. The handlebars should be grounded to chassis, so you could use anything on the handlebar assembly for ground too.
Sounds like your switch (part of the kit I assume) interrupts the ground to shut down the cruise when the clutch is actuated.
