Default Help with my brake light issue

I'm having an issue with my brake light being constantly on with both filaments of the dual filament bulb on constantly. It looks like I'm hitting the brake all the time with no change when I touch both front and rear brakes. I replaced the pigtail and bulb with a brand new one from H-D and still the same. Also my left rear turn signal doesn't blink completely you can barely see the blink. I have no idea what could be the problem

You have not said which model you have but have you checked the brake light switch? Also could be a bad earth connection.

Cool

Eddie, if you want to solve this yourself you need to buy a factory service manual! We can't spell out every fine detail for ya, that would be like rewriting the book.

Your bike has two brake light switches, front and rear. To identify your brake light problem, disconnect one switch at a time, to see if the brighter bulb filament goes out. Reconnect the first one, then disconnect the other. If the filament goes out, the switch you just disconnected is at fault.

As for the dim flasher, that sounds like a possible damaged wire, causing a ground. However swap the bulbs from one side to the other, to check it isn't one of them. If the problem remains on the same side, the bulbs are OK. Inspect the wiring to that light unit to identify a break in insulation.

Let us know what you find. You may find this link useful, which will give you exploded diagrams of your bike.
