1997 FXSTC...I bought this bike and it has no front turn signals. It has rear leds with badlands load equalizer..I want to install front signals, non led...problem is the wiring for the front signals have been removed...question...where can I tap into the system to power the front signals? The manual shows a connector for the front signals under the dash, problem is the plug to the front is missing. I know I need power and ground and the flasher...again where can I tap into the system to hook them in? I read 84 pages of the forum and still have no idea...Bike week coming up...would like to be "legal"..thanks
I ran my Softail without turn signals for a couple of years, but hand signals don`t cut it, nobody knows what they mean...
Reinstalled all the signals about 2 years ago, and feel much safer when slowing to make a turn, I still keep an eye in the rear view mirror- just to be sure any cars following aren`t running up on me too fast...
I realized how most people, even riders I have seen do not know what hand signals are or what they mean..personally I think all riders should know hand signals..after all almost every one knows what one hand gesture is, I am sure you know which one I am talking about....be safe...
