9/4, 7:23pm Thomas Michael McClureJust wanted to know about a difference in the evolution 2 and j. I know the j is supposed to be for the jeep, but I like the extra half halo, and was wondering if it would work on my Harley. Or if J.W. ever planned on making a headlight with a full halo.

9/7, 2:01pm J.W. Speaker CorporationThanks for your interest in our LED headlights Thomas! The J Series really has a lot of Jeep-specific features (integrated anti-flicker technology, a Jeep connector, etc.), so I don't know that it would be a good choice for a motorcycle. The light output is effectively the same as the Evolution 2, so I would point you towards that instead.
In terms of a full halo, there's certainly always a chance...
9/7, 2:17pm Thomas Michael McClureIs it enough of a chance that I should wait before I make my purchase?
9/7, 2:18pm J.W. Speaker CorporationI'm not aware of anything in the pipleline for a 7" round with full halo.
9/7, 2:20pm Thomas Michael McClureDang. I don't want to split it and add my own, that lifetime warranty is phenomenal. Thanks for the response!
JW for sure! Love that new Adaptive Headlight! It's high on my want list now, especially after reading another members' review on it in the Sporty forum!
The J works great on my limited. The only problem I see is a low level hum picked up in my amp. I can only hear it with the volume all the way down and the motor off.

First and foremost, chive on. Second, I want the adaptive headlight also. I am just going to wait until it is in it's second generation, and is a little cheaper. Which is exactly what I did with my headlight now.
And the J gives you a hum because of the Jeep specific stuff that is included. Try shielding your cables a little more, it may help get rid of any interference.
Where are you guys buying your JW Headlamps? Do they also offer the side/nacelle/Ultra-type lights?
I bought my evo 2 from 4 wheel drive. Com. Best price I found it was plug and play. The passing lamps I got from revzilla they are plug and play if you have the halogen lights. If you have the sealed bulbs like I did a harness is required but fit just fine. As for the evo j, like others have said it's got the jeep connecter along with the anti flicker harness built in that the jeeps from 07 to current are requiring to work properly. Evo 2 seems like the best choice to me. I love mine
