Hi.
Few days ago I've bought dyna super glide.
I've got key fob but it doesn't work.
Battery is new ofcourse.
I'm afraid to try fix it by myself becouse if bike wont start it will be a problem ;-).
Any ideas how to fix this?
Edit:
I don't know if tata related but turn signals aren't go off auto. I have to use switch again to turn them off.
Just buy a TSM and replace the TSSM. On an 02 you don't need a dealer of the Digital Tech. I did that very thing on my 02 FXD and it started right up. That was over a year ago.
By replacing the TSSM with a TSM you will eliminate security from the machine. Don't let anyone tell you you need a dealer or a process to do this. You unplug one and plug in the other. Early HD security systems weren't that tamper proof.
I've heard that.
So. Without tssm i don't need key fob?
There will be no alarm and such?
So what for I need this TSM?
Your 02 should function fine without the fob with your tssm.
Your problem is probably with the old fob, you can get replacements but they need to be married to the tssm.
The procedure is in the manual.
Do you just have the one fob?
Yes. I have only one fob.
I wanted to fix this tssm thing.
You know. I live on Poland. Don't want to loose my bike ;-).
My plan is to customize this dyna into kind of bobber.
Airbrush, ape hangers and such.
Would be nice if alarm and other security issues works.
