Hi All
got a 1996 FLSTN heritage softail, hd dyna turn signals, everything worked until recently, no leds, regular bulbs
turn signals work when bike is not running, work sporadically when running, 4 way flashers always work,
tried the manual, ive got good ground on pin1, battery voltage (12 volts ) on pin 2,
i can jumper from 2 to 3, or 2 to 4 and lights light up front and back,
when trying turn signal with bike running the turn signals light but wont flash or only flash 3 or 4 times then stop,
daughters sportster had the same turn signal module(works on her bike)wont even flash not running on mine
just a quick add to this thread
my speedometer works fine, was told the cancelling system was tied into turn signals and if it was not working, might be the issue
tHANKS
lol, i swapped the sportster module to my heritage and would not work, i have not tried to put the heritage module in daughters sportster, same exact part number
that would eliminate the module
update
i swapped the heritage module to my duaghters sportster and it worked fine, so either 1 of the 2 modules work on the sportster but not on my heritage
side note, heritage runs fine except turn signals not working, only issue

Ya, the TSM needs to see the load from both bulbs to work. That's how it tells you you have a bulb out or like in your case a broken wire.
