LED conversion causing DTC code which can't be cleared
I have tried a couple of different after market LED headlights (daymaker type) in my 2013 CVO breakout but they both have generated DTC codes that can't be cleared. I even took the bike to Harley to see if they could clear it but they couldn't.
My question is has anyone installed one (what brand, where purchased) that doesn't have this issue. I don't want to just live with it because it would mean I have to constantly check for DTC errors manually to see if anything else is going on with the bike.

The Code is under BMC and is 62136 which is basically an open in the light. As I said I had taken it to Harley and they couldn't clear it and said it is basically the led aftermarket light isn't being recognized which I have heard before and is why I'm asking others what brand they have used and where did you get it that doesn't experience this issue.

with my sunpie lights on my 2006 was fine. ordered set for wifes and they came with a canbus module for the ecm to recognize. do not need if no canbus on bike. yours does. can buy seprately on amazon h4 plug and play.
