Hey guys, I got a Christmas bonus this week, and like you all better be doing with your christmas bonus...I'm going to be spending it on bike parts. I'm going to pick up new bars and want to get them installed as soon as I can. Before I do that I'll have to remove this shift light/tach thing. I've been wanting to take it off anyway but haven't got around to it.
Here's where I need help.
Since I didn't install it, and have never installed anything like it I don't really know what to expect for the removal. I have the installation instructions attached here and it seems like there's a lot of splicing and **** going on. I'm going to tackle removing it tonight or tomorrow I think but just want to make sure I'm prepared. At all the places it's been spliced in or connected I assume what I need to do is disconnect it but make sure the connection left is still good etc.
Anyone have any wisdom for making sure this goes well?
