Turn signals not flashing

Default Turn signals not flashing
I just bought a 1990 sportster and the turn signals do not flash. It has aftermarket LED tail light/turn sigal on it. Any ideas how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Do they illuminate but not flash? My first reaction would be that if the circuit is good (fuses checked, verified power and ground at the connector) that they need resistance (load equalizers) for the flasher to trip.

Yes they come on but do not flash. The previous owner replaced the tail light with a LED brake/turn signal and the front are regular bulbs.

I installed the load equilizers like you suggested and that fixed it. Thanks for your response I really appreciate it!!
