Hi All,
So, this is my first real post looking for help with my '75 FXE.
The rear light works when I engage either brake, but not when I am just running the bike. If it were any other way, I'd check the bulb, the individual switches, etc. But I don't know where to look for just the regular "running" light.
Dual filiment bulb, check the bulb. Otherwise check to see if you are getting power to the socket, then go from there. Not sure if the color code has changed over the years but Blue wire is usually the tail light wire.
I misunderstood.
The brake light comes on but you have no running light?
Ya, check the bulb first then confirm you're getting power to the socket pin
for the running light (there's 2 pins, side of the socket is negative)
might be a broken wire under the fender.
