Default Headlight question

Hey, I have been looking around and have seen some posts but nothing definite. I currently have a day make head light on my bike. I have wired in a set of fog lights. My question is, is there a way to wire an on of switch to the head light that will not throw a code? The purpose for the switch is to kill the daymaker for fog conditions and going on to base so I'm not blinding guards and or drivers in line to get through the gate. If possible what is the best way in detail so it can be followed and not run on with no clear answer. Thank you.

Quick answer, No, if it indeed does register a code for the headlight.
First try unplugging the headlight and see if it does actually throw a code.
Then if it doesn't show the little red light in the speedo, put a toggle switch on
the back of the bucket just breaking the low beam wire but still energizing the spots.

Damn I completely forgot about getting a response back. I was able to add a switch into the wiring of the headlight. Works great, hit the switch and kills the power to the light. Best part it doesnt throw a code. Perfect for going through the base gates and not blinding the guards. Also when doing work on the bike and turning power on and not having the light on. I did also add led light pods that are angled down and outward. When going through some fog I kill the headlight and have the lights pods on. I dont get the wall of white from the headlight reflection and the pods light up the road and allows better visability. I appreciate the info that was given here.
