Headlight Bucket / Housing - Where to buy?
Hello everyone,
My first 'real' post since my introductory post - Yay! (although I have been reading quite a bit lately).
Anyway.. Would anyone know any companies that sell aftermarket headlight buckets / housings? I've been typing everything I can imagine into Google's search bar for at least a week day and night and nothing at all ever comes up other than the same repeated JP Cycles and Dennis Kirk site matches - and neither has what I'm looking for.
I have a 2004 Wide Glide (FXDWG) with factory 5.75" bucket which is exceptionally shallow and I'd like to upgrade to an LED headlight. Given that no LED headlight will fit in that tiny little teacup of a 5.75" housing, I've decided I might as well go to a 7". The Wide Glides always being an exception to everything, I'd need one a bit deeper than 'standard' due to how shallow the Wide Glide's buckets are for that era - not necessarily torpedo-tube in length but at least somewhat deep for not just the headlight but also to accommodate some other splice connections as well (from added fork-mount bullet driving lights). Not too picky on looks / design but chrome / polished SS or aluminum preferred. No black. Standard bottom mount onto block. Not picky on size (depth) but would rather go too deep / long than not deep enough.
Even Harley, as expensive as they are, don't seem to sell any 'deep' 7" buckets. Any leads anyone?
