Missing siren wire pigtail?
I have a 2004 dyna wide glide carbureted model previous owner cut and removed the green and brown siren wires. where can I connect the red and black radio shack siren wires to? Where did the original wires connect to that were removed? This is a factory TSSM system. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Verna!!
I'm gonna tap into the TSSM wire at pin #11 with the red wire from the siren. this should work fine. I had the siren working by taping into the brown and green wires that go to the rear fender t/s, etc., but the siren unit cooked. Could've been a defective unit too, Don't know? Thanks again for your help, I'll let ya know how I make out.

you shouldve already , but double check with a multimeter, that W/G wire is a switching voltage wire, its + pos most of the time sensing if the siren gets unplugged, and switches to -neg when alarm is violated
thats the wire you SHOULD connect to, no other, the TSSM is very sensetive to resistance levels, thats how it senses its being violated and triggers the siren, even a loose 9v battery in the siren can trigger an alarm, and in this case, an additional load in alarm state (positive) by the additional siren MAY trigger false alarms, i ALWAYS install a blocking diode in line to prevent anyhting backflowinginto the OE alarm system or it sensing outside resistance, the blocking diode only allows the OE system to SEND a signal, but cant see any additional resistance from the additional siren, i even install active GPS units onto that W/G wire as a SOS trigger, as well as for remote paging systems
you should connect the positive wire of the new siren to a constant positive, and the neg to that W/G wire, the alarm will wail normally when THAT W/G wire switches to negative under alarm conditions
and not to sound condisending, DONT TAP INTO ANYTHING ELSE.. youre playing with fire, i hate to see vtwins on the side of the road!!
