Unhappy Main Fuse

I attempted to jump-start my 2000 Roadking FHLRI and apparently blew the main fuse. I have been unable to locate the main fuse to replace it... HELP !!!

Default Main Fuse

Thanks for the info, I already replaced the circuit breaker but I still have no juice when I turn on the ignition switch. I was told the main fuse on my m/c is located under the battery box but have no been unable to locate it.

The 40 amp circuit breaker in the diagram takes the place of a main fuse.

Suggest you have the battery tested and check your battery cables end to end for condition.

Warning...Circuit breakers usually don't just "go bad." Look it and the wiring to and from it over real good and see if there are any indications of overheating, even slight. While it is very possible that the circuit breaker failed mechanically, I would not automatically assume that is what caused it to fail. If it is carrying a load that is close to it's trip point, it will eventually weaken and fail and you should be able to see indications of overheating.
