im a frequent vistor here. 97 dyna. Replaced all the parts over the last year or so, not all recently. Riding good for the last 2 weeks. Saturday rode for 2 hrs, came back home for lunch, went back out, wouldn't start. Hasnt started since. Recharged and even tried with a back up batter . no start. Turns over, just wont fire. Just checking on what it could be led me to that. Never looked in there. Which was stupid in retrospect because I noticed the cover had been opened because the rivets were gone and 2 different fasteners were used to button it. So I checked for adjustable pushrods but they werent. So I never bothered to peek under the timing cover because that didnt add up at the time

Replace it with OEM or an Ultima ignition S&S makes one too. I have a spare S&S with a single fire coil set $200.
