Siren is factory installed on the majority, if not all CVO models for the past 10 years or so.

I only ask because it gets power from the same circuit that powers the gauges and such that OP is having a problem with. I agree with your dry out connectors and grease them, see what happens, clearly something is making contact where it shouldn't.

That was what I was getting at when I asked about the Voltmeter and fuel gauge, both powered by R/O, then looked again and they communicate with IM. The OP said the turn signals still work and the Left and Right Hand Control Modules get power from Battery Fuse on R/O so that makes me suspect the connector or IM. I know some module problems do "dry up" so fingers crossed.
It appears the IM is the speedometer and Tach or in the picture #9 Instrument Cluster , or am I missing some thing?

Hope he comes back to let us know what he found.

You're definitely correct. Electrical problems are difficult in the best of circumstances, especially now, with the possibility it's a CAN Bus issue versus just an electrical problem. Add to that being unsure of people's abilities, tool availability, and response time to questions, they become pretty challenging to try and fix over the internet. I would bet this will indeed 'dry up' and likely fix itself before we know what's been checked.

In any event, Foxj, check the connector on the back of the Speedo/Tach, should be held onto the instrument console by 2 Torx screws on the side, as Zanth recommended, a little WD-40 if you notice moisture on the wiring side (I wouldn't spray into the speedo/tach), let that sit for a bit, blow it out, and some dielectric grease.

If that seems dry, there is large connector in the fairing, number 24 in this picture, check that for moisture, same procedure as above.
