Bad brake sensor?

Default Bad brake sensor?
Getting nowhere hooking up my tailight/brakelight. Using a test light I'm hot to one side of the brake sensor. Apply front brake, other side of switch nothing. does that prove a faulty sensor?

Since you gave us no info on what you are working on..... Front uses a push switch, rear uses a hydraulic pressure switch. Jump the switch(es) and see if your light works.

Thanks Chopperman, Sorry for being vague. I have everything working now. I was thrown because dissimilar wires were the same color. Had alot of problems from a previous wiring job, got most of it corrected. Again, Thanks
