Oh I see so if I buy the kit with 100 pins (terminals) they will fit other connectors, that is good to know. This stuff is confusing at first with so many different types of harnesses so thanks for clarifying that for me.
No problem man, wiring is what I do for living so happy I can help. Yea and make sure you get the female "Socket" Terminals too with for the mating connecters.
Yep I planned on it. CD has them both, and they are each $20 for a pack of 100. Is that a good price for the terminals or are they cheaper somewhere else

That's about as cheap as you'll find them without ordering a reel of 2000 once a year like I do
Man if I wasnt so cheap Id pay someone like yourself to go through my bike and tidy up the God-awful mess the PO made of it (or whoever he paid to do the aftermarket lighting). Its ridiculous, every time I have the seat off Im afraid when I put it back on that something else is gonna quit working thats what got me to start this thread in the first place. After I get back from vacation next week I am going to re-do everything under the seat. The stuff I ordered today with your help should be here waiting for me when I get back, plus while I was at a J&P Cycles store the other day they had some of those little blocks (I dont even know what they do) that get wired in line with CDs turn signals I noticed one of my turn signal/tail lights doesnt always work, and when I tap on the little block it comes on, so Im assuming I have a bad one. But they were only 5 bucks, and I have four of them, so I bought four new ones

Post a picture of the blocks I may be able to shed some light on that. I know the feeling man, nothing worse than chasing down an electrical issue. Similar situation in my case with a car many years ago is actually what got me into wiring, kind of just fell in love with it after that. Weird I know, I love what most people hate doing lol.
Happy to help when I can, If you need any wiring diagrams I may be able to pull them for you if I have them
There are 4 of these blocks under my seat, two go to the license plate holder you see above, and two go to some grommet lights/turn signals that I believe are CD products as well. The two that go to the lp holder have a different part number than the two that go to the grommet lights. I think the only difference is the amount of leds that each controls. One of the blocks that wire up to the left grommet light is the one that come and goes when I tap it. J&P had both types of blocks for $5 each so I bought two of each (4 total). Just for reference, here is a stock pic of the grommet lights:
Bike also has light strips on the saddlebags all of this was already on it when I bought it used 2-1/2 years ago. Something else I noticed is when I tried everything out after I thought I had it fixed was that the right bag light/strip wasnt blinking sequentially, all the leds were lighting up together, whereas the left side was working sequentially (lights were coming on in a sequence). So that is a whole other issue, but I was disgusted by the time I got to that point the other day and gave up. Again, Im gonna tackle this when I get back from vacation.
I appreciate the help with this man.
