Several weeks ago my 2000 FLSTC had an electrical issue where the speedometer was inoperative, which caused the directionals not to self cancel. The engine light stayed on and the Bluetooth for the speakers kept unpairing with my cell phone.
Got a few suggestions from the forum to change out the speed sensor which I did with no luck. and several posters mentioned TSM which is an obsolete part.
My being eclectically challenged I took her to my trusted Indy, Rolling Thunder.
He found the problem was a bad voltage regulator. A quick change to a new regulator and she is good as new.
Just thought someone with similar trouble might like to read my experience
