Default Twist grip sensor jumper wire

Hello. I have a 2010 ultra classic. The bike is in limp mode. Started testing wiring and noticed the twist grip sensor jumper wire has two connectors; 1 with 6 wires and 1 with 2 wires. Does the 2 wire connector need to be plugged in? I’ve looked all under the fairing and can’t find a second connector to plug it into. Bike ran fine getting it on the trailer had throttle response. Took tank and injectors out to clean due to sitting a year now have no throttle response? Have continuity from exam to throttle body actuator and bike will respond to manually opening throttle body; but nothing from the grip. Any help would be appreciated.

The 2 wire is for heated grips.

unplug the throttle actuator plug a few times to clean the pins and see if the throttle responds.

This sounds to me like twist grip is bad, generally on most DBW vehicles, the e-pedal(TGS in this case) has two sensors tgs 1 & 2 for redundancy. They read inverse of eachother tgs 1 voltage will go up while tgs 2 voltage goes down as you accelerate, the voltage error between the 2 is called the error %, if the error % goes past a certain value, most modern ecms will disable the pedal and essentially put bike in limp mode, I would see if you could borrow a tgs from someone and test
