I have an Electrical Diagnostic Manual for each of my bikes. One of the frustrating things I run across in testing circuits/components is when the procedure calls for using a Breakout Box (BOB). My understanding is the BOB is installed in series with the circuit so that tests can be performed with the bike in running condition because disconnecting connectors and testing for 5VDC without using a BOB can give false results.
Hopefully, your dealer has the necessary BOBs for testing the TMAP and TGS circuits. Having the bike as long as they have without finding the issue(s) leads to believe they don’t.

I agree that they either don't or haven't done that yet. Picking up on little clues in the conversation with the service department makes me think no one has spent a great deal of time on it because it's not something straightforward. I would hope a HD Dealer would have a breakout box, the problem would probably be having a technician knowledgeable enough or patient enough to do diagnostics.
Your struggle sound very familiar, as I was having similar issues with our 2015 Jeep JKU.
it was randomly throwing codes and going into limp mode, making it undriveable.
Like the bike, they Jeep has multiple sensors that rely on that 5v signal and the dealer wanted over $1,000 just to diagnose - not even to repair - the problem.
I brought it home and took it apart myself.
Turned out to be an intermittent short at the oil pressure sensor where the wire insulation had degraded.
That and several of the injector connectors were brittle.
I spent about $50 on replacement connectors and spliced them into the harness myself.
I hope your issue is similarly simple to fix once isolated.
I am probably overestimating my skills and oversimplifying the problem but I feel like picking up the bike soon from the dealer and just fixing it myself. Looking at the wire diagram, I feel like all I would have to do is follow 2 wires, the 5v power and the 5v ground from the ecm to the TMAP and TGS to find a wire break. Or one of those two sensors are bad. It can't be anything else throwing the code (in my opinion)
Next time come here and ask questions first; there are members on here that are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.
That repair bill is going to hurt whether they have fixed it or not I can't help but it sounds like you are on the right track if the dealer doesn't have a quick fix. Good Luck.
Do you guys think this code would cause any issues with it running? For example, will it cause me to break down or will it be an annoying code and light I’ll have to deal with until repaired. Just in case I decide to pick it up depending on what the bill is up to.
Well after 3 weeks I got the bike back. They say it’s fixed but during the 3 weeks they made repairs, but the light came back on when they test rode it. In the end, the twist grip sensor was replaced because they did an ohm test on it, and it was out of tolerance. They put about 30 road miles on it and no light. I was able to ride it about 20 miles today before it started to rain and no light. So let’s hope that was the fix! Figured I would update this thread in case anyone ever searches for this code in the future, they’ll have some insight on what fixed the problem for me. Of course, if the light does come back and I sure hope it doesn’t, I’ll post another update so I don’t steer you wrong. Thanks for all the replies I got from everyone
Thanks for the update. Hopefully, this thread will help someone in the future. How many hours did they end up charging you?
The form said 4.5 hours but I didn’t have to pay. Even tho it was used and purchased “as is” the dealership took care of it since it occurred only 2 weeks after purchase. I thought that was very fair of them and great customer service.
