No tail lights

tail lights on friends soft tail , new bulb in still no tail light. Where do I start

Fuses, then trace back. Check plugs in the tail light housing.

Volt Ohm Meter is your friend.

If not bulb or fuse, look at the wires up in the rear fender. If they start hanging, the tire rubs them, no lights. After checking fuse, a continuity test would tell you if you need to look into the fender, good luck.

Is this the same bike as in your other thread?

Does the motorcycle have no brake lights and no tail lights?

Has front brake lights no rear brake lights and no tail lights
