Turn the KEY switch to ON.
Then go to the RUN/STOP switch on RIGHT handlebar and flip it to ON.
Does that RUN/STOP switch make fuel pump run for about 3 seconds?
*Basically trying to rule-out a malfunction along the RUN/STOP switch OR the wiring to the right hand control.
I asked this in post 13 but never saw a reply: If the starter will crank the engine the power is at the righthand controls, can you pull the relay and check for 12V at 86? Also put a lead in 85, other lead on ground and turn ign on then off to run and see if you get a brief continuity to ground.
power at 86 would be at the relay coil, if power is there then the question is why the ECM doesn't ground .

has power at 86 no issue there, when i try 85 to ground with relay installed it does not get a brief ground at key on, but when cycling to off it gets a momentary ground.
