When the bike came from the factory the aux lamps only came on with the low beam.
The aux lamp switch was powered by the low beam circuit (yellow wire).
Mine (1989) is still wired in the OEM configuration.

I also have a problem with the left turn signal.
It's off at the rear but stays on at the front (it doesn't flash).

There is no running lamp in rear turn signals.
Are both running lamps working on the front?
Do the right turn signals work, front and rear?
When you press the left turn signal button, does the front turn signal come on steady, or not at all?
