Engine and Sucurity light
I dont know what I did but I'll try to make this short. I needed a ned cig lighter for my
06 EG STD. So I got one at Auto Advance for $4 VS $15 at the stealer. So I put it in and turn the bike on and of about 3 times to try it out. Works fine. I prepare to service the bike, oil, tranny and primary. I take it for a quick spin to warm her her fluids up when I notice I have the RPM and MPH gauge and miles are not, what the hell....So I find the
ASSY fuse blown, 3 years never had this happen. So I replace it, everything working fine. I do the complete service. Start her up, heres where it gets strange. I wait for the engine light to out so I can start her up, she fires up fine. All of a sudden, the "engine and sucurity" light comes on for about 3 seconds and go's off. It never did this.
So thinking the lighter could be a problem I spend the $15 for the OEM HD lighter. It stills dose it. Turn it on, engine light comes on and go's out, start the bike after about 30 seconds (it's now running) the engine and sucurity light comes on for about 3 seconds and the go's out. It never did this. Oh, I did fool arounf with the key fob before I relized a fuse was blown because the "sucurity light was on".
Any thoughts on this????
