starting problem

I just bought a 2004 spotrster and it won't start. I put a new battery in and it still doesn't start and when you push the button it doesn't even click...PLEASE help us....

check to make sure you have power going to the switch,then out of the switch,and so on till you find prob.(if its not clicking,its most likley the switch)

Starting problems

When we unplug speedometer bike starts and runs perfect..When we plug harness back in it blows 15a battery fuse.... We checked wire harness and there are not any shorts....

Something is shorting out Wire in the speedo? Does the speedo lite come on all the time Does the ign switch turn on all the lighting for normal daytime riding?
