bottom center of the headlight trim ring is 1 screw. remove it and take the trim ring off. then remove the 3 screws holding the headlight ring in place. there is enough slack in the wires to allow the headlight to fall onto the front fender so be careful with that...

What was the answer by the way? I was looking at doing the same thing but then I run across posts about too much heat detroying things, then others saying the lights weren't worth it, then others going off on a tangent about other lights as well.
I'd like to replace my passing lamps and headlight bulbs (2) with Silverstar Ultras as I have on my vehicles, but I can't seem to get the right numbers for the lights from anywhere including Sylvania customer support.
My headlight is not the factory light but the dual bulb halogen setup from HD. Worst $200 I ever spent on anything for the bike.
Anyone tell me what silverstar ultra bulb fits the driving lights and the dual bulb halogen headlight setup?
Also if anyone has had any problems with heat build up, etc with these lights.. I've been running them in my 2 vehicles for a while now and haven't had any issues...
