I own a 2001 Deuce. Recently, the speedometer and odometer has stopped working. The speedometer remains at zero (regardless of the speed) and the odometer readout is no longer working. It does illuminate when the bike is on/running.

Does anyone have any tips on what the problem might be?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

 

pull the speedo sensor located on top of the transmission and clean it. Being an 01, it may simply need to be replaced.

what I meant by "it" was the speedo sensor, not the speedometer.
