Voltage should be 12.6 on volt meter. Try breaking the starter lose and see if it will spin when you put juice to it.. Might just be a bad solinoid which would explain the loud clicking noise is charecteristic of low voltage getting to the starter or even more characteristic of a bad solinoid . Check all your connections make sure thier nothing lose anywhere just as a precautionary measure. Im old school all bikes I built had and ole kick starter and a joe hunt magneto system. Didnt even have a battery.
Can you start it by poping the clutch while somebody pushes you? Just a couple things to try. Good Luck Bro
Another possible culprit is the negative battery lead, where it attaches to the bike. It isn't real easy to reach with a wrench, but don't be tempted to short the lug and nut with a wrench, could make a mess of things if it arced (seen that happen on cars, but they're bigger and can take it).
