Default new CNC heads

Just finished up cutting some new CNC twin cam heads think they turned out good. Core shift was a pain from casting to casting though

Ya one casting doesn't clean up around bowl the other doesn't clean up around on of the walls. I will put them on the dyno soon and see how they do hopefully they make good power iv done a few by hand and they make really good power. then i will start to do them this is more of a side thing for me and see where it takes me i still love high rpm v8 motors haha

Flow numbers look pretty good but there are so many variances between flow bench setups that the dyno is the way to measure the quality of the head work.

with the amount of core shift in OEM HD heads and the tons of different types of builds,we`ve always liked hand porting over CNC porting (unless your going to run a bunch of different programs to cover touring builds to WOT,hot rod builds)

ya these ones i was trying to get going as a general program can tweak for individual build. It does seem that allot of people thing there is some voodoo to a CNC finish even though i can hand finish a head and make it much better but that's OK. I do like the program though because it does correct the core shift which is very hard to do if you port them by hand

I agree. CNC the port. Hand finish. Doesn't get any better.
