.......all depends how bad you really want the extra HP. I would go for the 107, between the two. Harley stuff is just OK, but it's cookie cutter parts. Yes, others may have a 107 or whatever, but I'd like to break away from HD parts a bit cause there are some many more cam, head, and other options in general to make it really your own.

No to mention it will sound completely different from any other HD.

Why not go for the 107 cost about the same better parts. Me if I were getting into it I would go to a 124 with keeping the same throttle body so it don't get too crazy. I have a friend who done that, it rides and runs nice.

Default more power

Actually with a well built 107 you can get into the 120's tq/hp. Hell my 83"er is knocking on the door of the 100's...

Hell you should check out this joker on a thread called "are cams worth the money" he claims on getting 119tq on his cam only 103ci and his buddy has 111tq on his stage 1 only! Man why do any more stages and blow cash when these guys figured out the magical pipe and air box to create more power torque than the 103/107 stage 4 possibilities noted above. LOL I love the internet...it's where fantasy comes to life.

On a serious note, go with the 107.

Here's a home built carbureted 107, but it is an all bore 107, not a "stroker". Dyno has the reputation as being "stingy". If the bike was fuel injected, well, she would be stronger. Why pass on the potential for more TQ/HP for $200??

$200 is pretty cheap for those little extra gains! Tell me where you can pick up 5hp AND 5tq for $200 and no extra work. You can't.

Plus the 107 kit is going to be more reliable IMO, better parts and there is more gains that can be had on the 107. The 103 with a stage 4 is pretty well maxed out, minus forced induction. so if you want to get even crazier the 107 has some more left to give before you need to go to forced induction to pick up more power.
