SE Perfect Fit push rods are not adjustable? Are they kidding me? SE engine kits come with 4 different push rod part #'s.

Yes I just found out the push rods are not adjustable, HD told me they were, but they are not (pissed).

But you get my point as to the rattle is just like all 4 are rattling like they are all too short?

If it is lifter noise its all 4 lifters and I highly doubt I have 4 bad lifters (but probably do now).

Get rid of the PF pushrods and replace with a good set of adjustables; the SE Premiums are fine (PN 18404-08); honestly, I don't know why those aren't included with the performance kits as the perfect fits are not perfect fits. An adjustable is the only way to get a "perfect" fit. Then you can evaluate lifters.

900 miles and some change, never over 3700RPM. Hopefully everything inside is okay.

"perfect fit" only made sense they were adjustable and the service manager assured me they were.

I am right on track with your suggestion(s).

In this day and age who doesn't run adjustable, hell I run adjustables in my 65 Buick 425 hydraulic lifter motor.

Thanks for the time and advice.
