Default checking pushrods

I replaced my cams and used adjustable pushrods on my '11 Heritage. I've put some miles on the bike since then and I want to check the pushrods to make sure they didn't move. Is there a way to check them without going thru the whole process as I did when I originally installed them? When I just checked them I put the front cam on its base circle and I can spin the opposite cylinder's pushrods with my fingers without any up and down play and without waiting for the lifters to bleed down. Does this sound right?

They didn't move. If a jam nut was tightened incorrectly then the pushrod(s) would have loosened up to the point that the bike would run terribly and/or shut down.

Nope. You'll know if they go loose!
