i do not turn the engine hard when the wife is on. And really dont ride it hard when it is just me. Now yes i take off hard sometimes but hell who don't. So what i am saying is i keep rpms low and when i hit it i want it to be there. If that helps.thanks for all the imput so far.

Two up and loaded is the situation where you want as much torque as possible to launch and get engine rpms up to cruise without lugging the motor.

In fact just the opposite. The further the torque curve moves to the right, the more possibility there will be for lugging the motor in the lower gears at lower rpms. Easy to overcome by using the torque multiplier of the transmission but a lot of riders just don't get that these vtwin motors are "happier" spinning.

A valid claim; these vtwin motors are happiest when spinning and can cruise at 3000-3400 rpms all day long without any issues; this is the point of the least stress on these motors.

Best answer to that question is for you to hop on a bike that hits 100TQ about 2200-2400rpms, peaks to 115TQ about 3500 and holds 115TQ to 4500 rpms before falling off. A bike with TQ on demand is much more fun to ride that than a bike that requires one to work the tranny to stay in a power band.

check out steve coles TTS100 cams..
i have them in my 14 street glide.
majority of my riding is 2000rpm to just under 4000rpm.
i have air cleaner, header pipe and rinehart 3.5 and tuner.
bike dyno tuned out at 90.93 hp 115.59 tq very rideable bike ..from streetlight to canyon to freeway.it runs the way i always thought a 103" should run.
i think it would be a great set up for 2 up riding
