Question ACR retrofit into 03 FLHT

New set of heads for my SE103, they came c/w ACRs (automatic compression releases) my 03 glide has no provision for triggering the ACRs during the start. Has anybody installed ACRs in an older model TwinCam? I am planning on hooking the ACRs to a relay and triggering the relay from the start circuit (start button). Does the relay need to be a timed out pulse relay or can the relay be energized as long as the start button is pushed? Any help, advice, or guidance is greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Yes, many folks hook them up to the starter solenoid. Nothing special needed.

Connect power to starter relay.
Other wire to ground.
They will be held open as long as start button is down.
As soon as release of button, they'll close.
Super simple setup.

It would help us if you tell us what heads you have and if they are off-the-shelf, or supplied by a tuning shop. I think you need a simple add-on wiring circuit, probably available from SE as a separate part. Check with your dealer - I can see one for a later model year in my SE catalogue, but not for your year.
