It's odd that under "fitment" doesn't list very many models.

I wonder if they changed sleeve materials or something?

By putting this 110" bolt on kit with a set of more aggressive cams and such on a 96-103" bike without the proper crank work, can you say KABOOM? Might as well go to a 120" or bigger.

Does not fit models with engine cases that have been machined to accept large-bore cylinders. Also fits 50-state ’11-later SoftailŽ models (except FLS, FLSS, FLSTFBS, FLSTN, FLSTSB, CVO™ 110 models or models with engine cases that have been machined to accept large-bore cylinders.). Requires separate purchase of Screamin’ Eagle high flow air cleaner. ’11 SoftailŽ models require ACR Harness P/N 70623-11.------

Little confusing wording, but sounds like some models need cases bored, some don't..... My guess is all do... But I don't know.

My understanding of cubic inches is you only get more with larger bore and Pistons, OR, longer stroke. Longer stroke cannot be obtained without crankshaft work, so bigger jugs and bigger pistons is all this is talking about.

Again, my understanding of the stock HD cases was 107 was the largest possible without case boring....

Something seems wrong here to me...

In order to yeild 110", on top of the 4 3/8" stroke, it has to be a 4" piston.
NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM can that be done w/o boring the cases, regardless what is said in that advertisement.
3.937" bore is the limit, at 107".

What did they change in 2011 that this setup wouldn't work on older models? Something is missing here, no way HD would leave paper thin cylinders.
